On Sunday, the Texas Rangers finished their series with the Cleveland Guardians (at home).
The Rangers won by a score of 10-0.
They will now have the day off on Monday before opening up a series with the Royals on Tuesday night in Kansas City.
Rangers Trade 3-Year Player To Rockies

Ahead of their series with the Royals, news was announced that the Rangers had traded Richie Martin to the Colorado Rockies.
MLB.com wrote (on June 7): “Texas Rangers traded SS Richie Martin Jr. to Colorado Rockies.”
He was then sent to the Rockies’ Triple-A affiliate.
MLB.com wrote (on June 8): “SS Richie Martin Jr. assigned to Albuquerque Isotopes.”
Martin did not play in a game for the Rangers.
He had appeared in 44 games for their Triple-A affiliate.
Martin’s MLB Career

Martin was picked in the 1st round of the 2015 MLB Draft.
He played a career-high 120 games (for the Baltimore Orioles) as a rookie in 2019.
That season, Martin batted .208 with 59 hits, six home runs, 23 RBI’s, 29 runs and 10 stolen bases.

Martin played two more seasons for the Orioles in 2021 and 2022.
He last appeared in an MLB game on July 3, 2022.
