This time around, it’s not an outfielder like Brandon Nimmo catching the Rangers’ eye, but rather a seasoned right-handed reliever with a 2.35 ERA – Huascar Brazoban.
Brazoban, at 36, is having a career year with the Mets. Despite his age, he’s not even eligible for arbitration until 2027, making him an intriguing trade piece for New York to capitalize on. The potential move would add another chapter to the Met-to-Ranger trade narrative.
For the Rangers, Brazoban would bolster a bullpen that has already seen solid performances from Jacob Latz and Jake Junis but could use an extra arm to shore up its depth.
