Tottenham Receive BLOCKBUSTER Transfer Update That Will Make an Instant Impact on Next Season’s Campaign as Three More “Outstanding” Players Reveal Their Choice Is Tottenham or Nothing, with a BOLD Decision Confirmed

Tottenham Hotspur are heading into what could be one of their most significant transfer windows in recent years, with five players already expressing their willingness to join Roberto De Zerbi’s project in north London.

Following back-to-back 17th-place Premier League finishes, Spurs know major improvements are needed if they are to return to competing higher up the table. Strengthening the squad with experienced leaders has become a top priority for the club hierarchy this summer.

The club has already secured the arrivals of Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi on free transfers. Tottenham successfully fended off interest from Juventus to land Robertson, while Senesi opted for a move to north London despite links with Liverpool. Both transfers have been confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano with his trademark “Here We Go” announcement.

Romano has also revealed that veteran defender Ben Davies is set to remain at the club after agreeing a new contract. The Welsh international had looked destined to leave when his current deal expires at the end of June, but Spurs have convinced him to extend his stay.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano also provided an update on Joao Palhinha’s future. The Portuguese midfielder, who spent last season on loan at Tottenham, remains keen on returning permanently.

Palhinha was among the club’s standout performers during a difficult campaign and famously scored the goal that ensured Tottenham’s Premier League survival on the final day of the season.

Spurs have the option to make his move permanent from Bayern Munich for around €30 million (£26 million), and Romano claims the midfielder is prioritising a return to Tottenham despite interest from Sporting CP.

“Just a quick one on Tottenham,” Romano said. “Ben Davies is expected to sign a new contract.

“There are also many questions about Joao Palhinha’s future. Sporting CP are interested, but they will only move for him if the Tottenham deal doesn’t happen. At the moment, Palhinha is still giving priority to Tottenham.”

However, the biggest transfer story surrounding Spurs currently involves Manchester City winger Savinho.

Tottenham made two attempts to sign the Brazilian star last summer, with reports suggesting their highest offer reached €80 million (£70 million). Had the deal gone through, Savinho would have become the most expensive signing in the club’s history, surpassing Dominic Solanke.

Although the move failed to materialise at the time, Savinho remains interested in joining Tottenham, and this summer the circumstances appear more favourable.

Unlike last year, Manchester City are now open to selling the winger, and the transfer fee is expected to be significantly lower than the figure previously quoted.

Romano confirmed that Tottenham are actively pushing to complete the deal.

“Tottenham are increasing their efforts to accelerate negotiations for Savinho,” Romano explained. “Discussions are ongoing.

“Spurs want to secure an agreement with the player first before negotiating with Manchester City. The deal is definitely on.

“We still need to understand exactly how much Manchester City will demand, but it’s likely to be lower than the €80 million they were asking for a year ago.

“The valuation will probably be different now, but Tottenham remain very interested.

“They were pursuing Savinho under Thomas Frank in 2025, and they continue to pursue him in 2026 under Roberto De Zerbi.”
