During Tottenham\u2019s recent clash with Chelsea FC, Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher accused several Premier League players of exaggerating contact and going to ground too easily, with Pedro Porro among those singled out.<\/p>\n

Speaking after the match, Carragher suggested that Porro has developed a habit of falling under minimal contact, comparing him to players such as Alexis Mac Allister and Marc Cucurella.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI mentioned this about Mac Allister at Liverpool a few weeks ago. And we\u2019ve seen it a lot in this game with Porro, we\u2019ve seen it with Cucurella.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe number of cheats and players going down when there\u2019s nothing wrong with them is a joke in the Premier League. Just touches him in his face and he goes down, absolutely nothing wrong with him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carragher also claimed that Richarlison is another player who frequently goes down despite little or no contact.<\/p>\n

The comments are unlikely to be welcomed by Tottenham supporters, although the issue of simulation and players attempting to influence referees has become a growing talking point across modern football.<\/p>\n

Carragher later added that both Cucurella and Mac Allister are also among the players who tend to make the most of minor challenges.<\/p>\n

As for the result, Tottenham suffered a damaging 2-1 defeat to Chelsea, leaving them 17th in the Premier League table. Spurs must now win their final game of the season to avoid relegation, with pressure mounting on the squad to deliver when it matters most.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
