However, despite the excitement surrounding the blockbuster move, many analysts believe New England’s pass rush remains one of the team’s biggest weaknesses heading into the 2026 NFL season.<\/p>\n
One name that continues to surface in trade speculation is Las Vegas Raiders star pass rusher Maxx Crosby. While acquiring Crosby would likely require a significant investment, the Patriots have emerged as one of several teams being linked to a potential deal if the Raiders ultimately decide to move their defensive cornerstone.<\/p>\n
