Notably, Orsillo emotionally shared that he may soon be reunited with his close friend and legendary colleague Jerry Remy.<\/p>\n<p>In a tearful announcement video posted on social media, Orsillo \u2013 the familiar voice of the Red Sox for 15 years \u2013 spoke in a warm but choked voice:<br \/>\n\u201cI may soon be reunited with him\u2026 Jerry Remy. I miss him so much. If I have to go, I hope to be able to sit beside him and commentate on a game together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This news immediately brought millions of Red Sox fans to tears. Don Orsillo, 57, is one of the most beloved broadcasters in franchise history.
